The heart of Newcastle provides the backdrop for the WILD HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIPS — our most exclusive Hybrid event of the year.

This is an invite-only Championship event, bringing together the athletes who have earned their place by competing at one of our qualifying events throughout the year.

To qualify for the Championships, competitors must finish inside the Top 10 at one of our other WILD HYBRID events. Secure your place, earn your invite and take on the best of the best at Exhibition Park.

Located in the heart of Newcastle, Exhibition Park provides the perfect setting for a Championship event, combining open green spaces with the atmosphere and energy of the city.

Competitors will take on a combination of running and functional fitness, with the running sections taking place around the park and the functional work set up across the open grass areas.

Bring the family and spectators along to soak up the Championship atmosphere and enjoy everything Newcastle has to offer, with the city centre just moments away.

Qualification

THIS IS AN INVITE-ONLY EVENT.

To earn your place at the WILD HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIPS, you must finish Top 10 at one of our qualifying WILD HYBRID events.

Finish inside the Top 10. Earn your invite. Race for the Championship.

Start Times

Start times will be confirmed 1 week prior to the event. Your start time could be any time between 8am and 5pm.

Timing

There is Live Chip Timing throughout the Event.

All finishers will receive unique WILD HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP MERCHANDISE & PRODUCTS from our Event Sponsors.

Prizes

There will be flags for podium positions in each standard (RX) category. These will be sent in the post after the event.

Parking & Public Transport

There is local public parking available around Exhibition Park, with a number of car parks and on-street parking options within easy reach of the venue.

As Exhibition Park is located close to Newcastle city centre, the event is also easily accessible by public transport, with regular bus and Metro services operating nearby.

We encourage competitors and spectators to consider public transport where possible.
